According to good old trustworthy Tony Blairs, this week it's drugs.
"Fair enough!" you say, but according to other people so are the following.
- Killers
- Cancer (Tony again)
- Taking your kids on a long road trip
- Colic in babies
- Web porn
- A phone call from a hospital to tell you your child is unconscious
- Head Lice
To be honest, what with pretty much everything ever being a parents nightmare, I'm suprised that parents don't wet the bed every night (every cleaners nightmare).
Can we not just agree or at least do a poll to find out what exactly every parents nightmare should be. That way we'll not have to hear the phrase every five seconds. I worry that it's the aural equivelent of screen burn.

My favorite webcomic Kid Radd has ended. I am very sad as it filled a gap left by the end of Unicorn Jelly for my continous story based goodness.
Big Thank you to Dan for such an excellent read and a really interesting take on comic formats. If you haven't read Kid Radd then go now and start from the beginning whatever you do.
I'm now reading Alpha Shade but it's rarely updated which is somewhat frustrating. So if anyone knows a decent comic with a big concept to it then please leave a comment.

I hate txt speak. If you want to call it AOL speak then be warned I still hate it. I prefer to call it retarded. If you wish to email me and actually have me read it then I suggest you use real written English.
Here is an example of what not to write:
lo. just wanna say that the last episode (band) rocks it iz so kool shame
weebl and bob wernt innit such but hope the nxt 1 will b az gd. I LOVE TEAM
LAZER EXPLOSION! i even printed off a belt but its kool only warn it once and

Rug resolutions |

Previously I mentioned the comedy of errors I went through trying to get a rug for the house. I'm glad to say that it's all been resolved now and as a result I have got a large sheep skin rug for free as way of compensation. The rug is in fact very very nice indeed.
Big thanks to Richard at Couverture Direct who arranged for a cheque and the huge black rug of loveliness to be shipped down to London. The only problem now is the fact that our new cat, Logi, is also black and boy does he love sleeping on that rug.
No one has stepped on him yet but it's only a matter of time I'm sure.

Having just moved house and finding myself needing some furniture, I've also found myself in the wonderful position of having my bank account emptied by one such furniture company.
Now if I actually bought anything from them that would be ok I guess, especially if actually I'd spent the £4000 they decided was theirs.
Imagine my joy when I discover this and my further joy when I realise this could actually effect my paying for the house, since mortgages need to be paid you know and that tends to require some money actually being available.
Apparently www.couverture-direct.co.uk had some sort of system foul up but didn't tell me about this till I dicovered the missing moola. So for 5 days now they've been enjoying the interest my money grants them while I hope that it gets sorted before my next mortgage payment. Ah joy.
Quite why it takes 48 hours plus to return money that they took in seconds is beyond me. Quite how you can take such a large amount without realising this is really going to mess up someones day is also beyond me.
So if you are looking for a rug (to really finish off the room) I'd look anywhere but Couverture Direct.
