I tell you I want you
I'll tell you I need you
The blood ain't on my hands
Just wanted you near me
Anybody here like Sonic?
I certainly hope so, because I'm going to be selfish and plug my webcomic now. Forewarning though:
If you do not like sprite comics; DO NOT CLICK THE LINK BELOW.
It is an aptly-named strip that I shall update as often as possible.
Please enjoy: Sonic Sprite Comic.
Later.

You can't take me anywhere, I take you anywhere You can't take me anywhere, I can take you anywhere I'll take you anywhere you wanna go You can't stand me now...
Kind of apt really but I won't say why.
Hello again. Just me dropping in with a wee update.
As none of you would know, I'm currently the owner of a delightfully disgusting cold. As I happen to be feeling rather 'under the weather' right now, my sleeping patterns have been all over the place - on Friday night I couldn't sleep 'til after 3am, last night I went to bed at half past 11 and slept 'til 9 this morning. So that's buggered up, but not nearly as much as something else.
I'm fully aware that Kate will see this, but she probably knows it too - something bad is going on. I don't know what it is, but when we barely talk all week and it gets to the point that one of us doesn't even want to talk at all, you know things aren't going too well. It probably doesn't help that I've singlehandedly ruined any chance of going to V-Festival for her, but there's nothing I can do about that now. In the meantime she continues to be worried about the next two months, including her birthday on which she wanted to go and see the Futureheads, but her mother already had things arranged. I guess it's a shame, but I still think that her birthday, assuming things are OK by then, will be a really good one.
I guess that's all for now. Sorry for the uber-emo entry again.
Later.

So I'll wait 'til I find The remote part of your heart Nowhere else will let us choose a comfortable start...
So I got sick of waiting for my 'blog to disappear and instead have vowed to post in it as much as I can. Fear my defiance!
So what's been happening? Not too much. Nothing of real note, other than I got to play a Nintendo DS at the weekend. I therefore decided to give my first impressions of the console as well as what I thought of Super Mario 64DS, Wario Ware Touched! and Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt.
Microsoft or Sony fans - stop reading unless you want to decide to get a DS.
First things first is the feel of the console. At first sight it seems like it would be a bit too big, but upon holding the thing I was pleasantly surprised. It seems light enough to carry around as well as small enough to fit in the average pocket. As a guide it's about the size of two GBA SP's put side by side. The buttons are comfortable and the shoulder buttons, crucially, work very well.
Onto the games then. The one I spent the most time on and got the furthest on was Mario DS (which is what I will refer to it as from now on). The game was very interesting - starting off as Yoshi is pretty cool until the novelty begins to wear off a bit as you think there are missions you can't do...That is, until you find your first Mario cap! You suddenly become Mario until you are next attacked, and you can do all sorts including the wall kick and picking people up. Eventually you unlock the red-capped plumber himself after collecting eight stars, which is probably just about the right amount of time to essentially force the player to use Yoshi. On a side-note: Nintendo have built so much new content into this game it's unbelievable. It actually looks better than it did on the N64, and there are new bosses to fight in order to unlock characters too. As Mario you can do so much more (and I found it making me appreciate being able to use him in Mario 64 - Yoshi is fun but Mario can do so much more). Eventually I gained the 12 stars neccessary to unlock Luigi who seemed to be a very intriguing character, and just when I was doing really well...
It had to go back to my cousin's house...in Glasgow. Bah!
As for Wario Ware Touched! - well, it seemed to me like a really great game and something I'd enjoy if I owned it, but personally I was just not very good at it. However, I'd still recommend it.
Finally, First Hunt is the best game demo I've played. It takes Metroid to somewhere only partly explored before, in that the game is of the FirstPersonShooter genre. It plays almost exactly like a PC shoot 'em up, and in that respect is bloody brilliant. Can't wait for the full game.
My diagnosis? Get yourself a DS, asap. I know I will be.
Other news? None really. None that's interesting anyway.

It`s something unpredictable
But in the end it`s right
I hope you had the time of your life...
So yeah, came home to discover this won't be here any more.
Shame? You bet. But don't worry. Anyone who is still interested in my meagre life can find me on the forums and PM me for a link to my newest 'blog. Hell, I might even put it up here.
Edit/In the end, I decided to put it here. My new 'blog is at http://thedingbat.blogspot.com
It's been great to have a slot on the Weebl and Bob website, and I'm glad I've somehow managed to have so many readers all the time, even if a lot of you were spammy or nasty.
That's it then. Keep in touch. My email address for you to reach is dingbat@hotmail dot co dot uk, with actual dots.
Finally, I want to say, to a very special guy:
Fare thee well, 'baddass'.
One last time: Later. DB@ |

Stand up Stand up And stand down Applaud El Capitan...
In roughly four to five hours or so I will be on the way to Italy. In stark contrast to last time I think I might enjoy this one and am looking forward to it...but I'm still going to miss Kate.
It's funny. Looking from outside a relationship it never seems as if its that hard, and like it's all just a great time with the person you love...but in fact, you never get to see stuff like this; having to leave the person you love behind again.
Let me tell ya for anyone looking from the outside;
It sucks.
Well, hopefully it wont go too long and I will be able to talk to my lovely Katie again within a week or so. In the meantime, wish me luck and hope I enjoy skiing!
Later.
